Terms

The short version: we print one word a month and mail it to you or to someone you love. Here is how the ordering works.

Where we ship

The Monthly Lemma ships within the United States only, to any US mailing address. We are not able to send issues overseas.

Subscriptions and renewals

A one year subscription is billed once and renews each year until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the link in your receipt or by writing to us, and you will keep receiving issues through the end of the year you have paid for.

A three months plan is a single purchase, not a subscription. It brings three issues and then simply stops. Nothing renews and nothing bills again.

Gifts and refunds

Because every issue is printed and mailed to order, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds. We hope that feels fair given how small and considered each order is.

If an issue arrives damaged, or goes missing in the post, that is on us. Tell us and we will reprint and resend it at no cost.

Changing an order

Need to update a delivery address, fix a spelling, or change who an issue is going to? Write to us before the next issue mails and we will take care of it.

Your details

Payment is handled by Stripe, and we never see or store your card number. We keep the name and address you give us for one reason, which is to mail the issues. We do not sell your information or share it beyond what it takes to print and post your subscription.
